Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

Costco is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join its warehouse team. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in supporting warehouse operations by efficiently moving and handling merchandise using a forklift. This position helps ensure products are organized, accessible, and delivered safely, maintaining Costco’s high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to transport merchandise within the warehouse.
• Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of the forklift.
• Support inventory management and assist in cycle counts.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet performance goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy merchandise.
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
